Being Alive
Being Alive is a color field painting built from translucent layers of blue, green, violet, rose, and warm earth tones. A soft blue form extends vertically through the composition, meeting a broad green field and areas of violet and muted red that gather around the edges. Rather than concealing the surface, the thin layers of acrylic allow the natural linen and its pronounced weave to remain visible throughout, giving the color a luminous, atmospheric quality.
