Have The Life
Have The Life is an abstract watercolor monotype that brings dense fields of green and charcoal into contrast with luminous yellow-green and a vivid passage of red-orange. The forms gather around a broad area of open paper, shifting between fluid washes and more textured transferred marks. Irregular edges, variations in density, and traces of the monotype process give each area a distinct presence while allowing the composition to remain open and spacious.
“We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.”
