Memory is an abstract watercolor painting in which large, fluid fields of coral red and pale pink are surrounded by smaller fragments of mustard yellow, charcoal blue, turquoise, and muted green. The forms appear suspended across an open ground, some gathering into broad translucent washes while others remain isolated as small gestures of color. Irregular edges, blooms of pigment, and variations in transparency give the composition a sense of shifting clarity—forms seem to surface, fragment, and recede across the paper.
Memory can be deceiving.
