Things Change No 3 is an abstract watercolor painting composed of broad, flowing washes that gather around an expansive field of open paper. A deep brown passage moves across the upper edge while pale blue-green curves around the lower and right sides, meeting a luminous wash of golden yellow. The colors bleed, pool, and soften at their boundaries, creating subtle transitions between the larger forms. The warm tan paper remains visible through the composition, giving the work a quiet sense of space and allowing the fluid behavior of the watercolor to remain central.
