Trust is an abstract watercolor painting organized around a large expanse of open paper, framed by translucent passages of yellow, blue-green, pink, violet, rust, and sienna. The surrounding color shifts between broad washes and more concentrated areas of pigment, creating a loose boundary that opens toward the quiet center of the composition. Soft edges, overlapping washes, and areas of pooling emphasize the fluidity of watercolor, while the warm tan paper remains an active part of the work.
