Floodplain creates an expansive space shaped by repeated movement and exchange. A broad, pale interior spreads between warm ochre and rust-orange fields, its irregular edges suggesting material deposited and redistributed over time. A dark green and charcoal band stretches across the upper edge, while luminous yellow gathers below and along the left side. Within the central opening, delicate gray-green textures and traces of transferred pigment suggest the gradual accumulation of material across an open surface. The contrast between dense, saturated margins and the softer interior gives the composition a sense of continual change.
